EDUCATION
When students are fully present, real learning happens
You know that feeling when your class is genuinely engaged - not just compliant, but actually there? That's what happens when students can touch a python, watch a glider glide, or even see a crocodile open its mouth right in front of them!
We understand you're exhausted trying to make environmental education stick. Worksheets and videos have their place, but there's something different about that visceral moment when a student feels scales for the first time or watches a quokka hop across the floor. That's when curiosity ignites.
School Incursions - Reception to Year 12
We align with the South Australian curriculum from R-12, covering biodiversity, adaptations, life cycles, ecology, conservation, threatened species, and classifications. But here's what really matters: your students won't just learn about these topics - they'll feel them.
Each 60 minute session features 8 - 10 native animals; feathery, scaly, and fluffy species that students can interact with safely. One of our experienced presenters leads the session, tailoring it to your class's specific needs and year level. Whether it's primary students discovering basic adaptations or Year 12s exploring complex ecological relationships, we meet them where they are.
What Teachers Tell Us:
After nearly 20 years of school incursions, we hear the same thing: "The kids were completely engaged!" Not performing engagement, not waiting for the next thing - actually present. That's worth something when you're trying to build genuine understanding, not just tick curriculum boxes.
We can extend beyond the curriculum too. Maybe you want to dive deeper into threatened species, or focus specifically on local wildlife, or explore how students can help in their own backyards. We're flexible because every class is different, and you know your students best.

Early Learning & Childcare Centres
Young children learn through their senses, and there's nothing quite like the wonder on a four-year-old's face when they gently touch a blue-tongue lizard for the first time.
Our 60 minute sessions are designed for early learners - hands-on, interactive, and paced for short attention spans. One of our presenters guides children through meeting 8-10 native animals in a safe, calm environment. No rushing, no crowds, just that magic moment when a child who was nervous about the snake ends up asking if they can hold it!
We've worked with hundreds of early learning centres, and we know that some children will be cautious, some will be fearless, and all of them will have questions. Our presenters are patient and genuinely skilled at meeting each child where they are - whether that's across the room or holding a python by the end.
What This Gives You:
Beyond the immediate joy (and the photos that parents love), you're planting seeds. That child who connects with a bearded dragon today might start noticing lizards in their garden tomorrow. The one who was scared of snakes but touched one anyway has just learned something about courage and challenging assumptions.
These are the baby steps toward a deeper understanding of their place in nature. We're not expecting four-year-olds to become conservationists - we're trusting that curiosity, once sparked, has its own momentum.

Why Teachers Choose Us
Nearly 20 years of building trust with South Australian schools means something. We're not just wildlife handlers who show up with animals - we're educators who understand what you're trying to achieve. Every presenter on our team:
Understands curriculum alignment but knows engagement matters more than box-ticking
Can adapt on the spot when a class needs a different approach
Creates space for the kids who need more time and challenges the kids who are
ready for deeper questions
Genuinely cares about that spark of curiosity becoming something more
You'll get emails from us after the visit, you can call with questions before booking, and if something doesn't work perfectly, we want to know! This is a partnership in service of your students' learning, not just a transaction.
Let's talk about what your class needs. Whether it's a one-off incursion or a series across the term, we'll work out what makes sense for your students.
The animals are ready. Your students are ready. Let's make it happen.
