South Australia’s most
interactive wildlife experiences
You’ve been looking for this…
There’s that quiet yearning, isn’t there?! To reconnect with nature. To create moments that actually stick with your kids. To find educational experiences that genuinely engage, not just tick boxes. To offer something meaningful to the people you care for.
You’re tired of rushed zoo queues and only seeing animals behind glass; you want hands-on encounters where people can actually be present: touching, holding, asking questions at their own pace. Where a child who’s nervous about snakes, might end up holding one. Where someone who’s felt isolated discovers they can connect through animals.
You’ve found the right people! We have the largest range of friendly, interactive wildlife in South Australia, and we’ve spent nearly 20 years creating the unhurried spaces where curiosity becomes something more.
The animals are ready whenever you are.
Where Curiosity Becomes Connection
South Australia’s most interactive wildlife experiences -
coming to you, or welcoming you here!
At Animals Anonymous, we have the largest range of friendly, interactive wildlife in South Australia. Since 2007, our core purpose has been connecting people with their local natural environment - not through lectures, but through those unhurried moments that shift how you see the world around you.
We facilitate wildlife handling workshops at the University of Adelaide's School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences and at Flinders University. We also produce the Aussie Wildlife Show - Australia's best wildlife and nature podcast.
But here's what really drives us: watching that kid who asks "how can I own a python?" Because that question means they've moved from indifference to curiosity. They want to stay connected to that feeling. That's where it starts.
“This is a wonderful place to visit. Firstly, the owners are very knowledgeable and focused on conservation of native animals. Just as importantly, they are happy to share this knowledge and allow appropriate interaction with the animals in their care. My family and I learnt so much from this experience and it was a highly memorable outing.
I would highly recommend Animals Anonymous to anyone interested in preserving and interacting with Australian native animals.”
“We had an amazing experience with Animals Anonymous at my daughters 11th birthday party today! Communication and customer service was excellent and the actual experience of meeting the animals was well beyond what I had imagined! All the kids absolutely LOVED it, as did the parents! Highly recommended”
NDIS Training Pathways Program
Come and learn how to be a zookeeper!
Our NDIS program is highly regarded in the community because it creates real transformation. Participants gain skills in zoo keeping and animal husbandry, build confidence, get job-ready, and discover they can connect with others when animals break the ice.
Some of our participants have gone on to have their first birthday parties, others have found pathways to employment in the industry. All of them work alongside our trained zookeepers with amazing Australian wildlife - quokkas, crocodiles, pythons, and much more. There's nothing like it in South Australia.
In Conversation…
Did you know, we also have a podcast?!
Join Adrian Sherriff with Dianne Pearson or Steve Crawford on ‘Aussie Wildlife Show,’ as they chat with their guests about some of the most unique and fascinating wildlife on Earth.
